BRAND MANAGER

Bucharest, Romania

Develop marketing strategies, plan and coordinate brand activations for the seasonal category in order to achieve the company’s objectives and assure the brand essence in the main International markets.

Monitor global trends, study consumers/shoppers preferences and behaviour and evaluate new business opportunities.

Recommend products to specific markets, develop new products (incl. packaging) or adapt them to meet consumers’ expectations.

Manage brand communication campaigns across all channels, with an emphasis on online and in-store.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Defines the objectives, scope and marketing plan for the assigned product category.

Manages the product portfolio - elaborates and implements the marketing strategies and is accountable for the A&P budget.

Develops and proposes ideas for new products based on consumer, customer and shopper insights and trends; analyses the ideas feasibility: volume potential, profit, market share, cannibalisation, competition.

Manages internal and external resources throughout the entire innovation process, from the idea to market.

Develops and executes integrated communication programs for consumers, inclusive social media, advertising, on-line advertising, promotions, in store activities, PR etc.)

Assures support for the International teams to implement marketing programs in other key markets.

Shares on a regular basis the latest updates and practices in terms of marketing, sales, communication with the key stakeholders.

Identifies category trends (price, size, formats, etc.) and preferences of the chocolate category and keeps an open eye on innovations in other categories. 

Establishes optimum relationships with partner agencies (prepares briefs, coordinates the agencies and other people/departments involved in different projects).

Monitors and manages the budget (obtains approvals from direct supervisor, sets objectives, calculates ROI of each activity and present it to direct manager for approval, follows the efficient budget execution, invoices, suppliers payment etc).

Specific types of knowledge, skills & experience required:

Min 3-5 years marketing experience

University degree in marketing or economics

Highly developed communications skills

Customer orientation

Very organized person

Creative/innovative thinking

Enthusiastic attitude

High attention to detail

Analytical skills

Computer skills – advanced

English – advanced level

Additional language - German is a plus
